How Alimtox Foot Detox Works

The Alimtox system generates a gentle bio-electric field in warm water, creating an electrolytic process that stimulates ion exchange through the 2,000+ pores in each foot. Positively and negatively charged ions move in and out of the body, drawing toxins, heavy metals, and metabolic waste through the skin. The water visibly changes color during the session — a direct indicator of the detox process at work. Each session is conducted in a private, comfortable setting at our Naples spa.

Yes. The Alimtox system uses low-level bio-electric energy that is safe and comfortable for most adults. Clients with pacemakers or who are pregnant should consult their physician before booking.
The water changes color due to the electrolytic reaction between the ionic array and minerals in the water. While some toxins do exit through the feet, the color change is primarily a reaction indicator.
Most clients feel relaxed and lighter after a session. Drinking plenty of water before and after is recommended to support the detox process.
